Our story
Nature Tools was founded by two creators, Donald Dorch and Mattias Lepp, who share a deep love for the forest and a mutual enthusiasm for building things. Donald is the creator behind the popular Donn DIY YouTube channel, while Mattias is the founder of the gardening brand Click & Grow.
Our shared passion for forestry and innovation made starting Nature Tools a natural next step. In the summer of 2024, we joined forces to create tools that inspire us and others—tools that make working with and in nature both exciting and accessible.
Our first creation, ClampMill, is a user-friendly chainsaw mill designed for everyone, from novices to professionals. It embodies our commitment to making forestry tools that are not only effective but also enjoyable to use.
But ClampMill is just the beginning. As builders we’re constantly dreaming up new ideas, and many more inspiring tools are already in development.
Our Vision
Our journey began with a simple vision: to empower the connection between people and nature.
We design and create tools that inspire both beginners and professionals, bridging the gap between human creativity and the natural world. For us, inspiration starts from within. Every product we develop is something we would use ourselves—tools that challenge us to grow, learn, and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Our Mission
Our mission is clear: to create inspiring tools for sustainable forestry.
We believe that tools are more than just instruments—they’re catalysts for discovery and growth. From innovative chainsaw mills to versatile solutions for DIY and forestry enthusiasts, our products are built to spark creativity, encourage sustainability, and make working with nature a seamless experience.
We’re not just crafting tools; we’re creating opportunities for people to reconnect with the natural world—whether it’s through building, growing, or simply exploring what’s possible. At Nature Tools, we aim to leave a positive mark on the world by fostering balance between humanity and nature, one project at a time.
